Trefaro is recuperating from his flight from Budapest, Hungary to Missouri in the United States. He's tired and has been introduced to a sudden change, therefore much rest is needed for this transition.
It's great to have him as an addition to our family! Welcome home!

Neo's do not require alot of exercise. They loaf around 1/2 of the time. When Trefaro is out in the yard, he might run across it a couple of times, then search for some water and shade to lay down in. If it's hot out, then he will waste no time at all finding shade. Heat takes a big toll on this breed. It's not healthy for any breed of mastiff to be in the heat without proper shade cover or ventilation of some type. They require alot of fresh water, especially on hot day's. Here is a picture of Trefaro(11 weeks) resting by his bowl. It's funny, as if he might be guarding it, or waiting for a refill.

Trefaro has company all of the time. He has a Neapolitan Italian Mastiff girlfriend. Her name is Bella. If Trefaro is seperated from her for any reason, he will sometimes bark or wine until reunited. If Bella leaves for one minute, Trefaro acts like she's been gone for a few day's. It's simply cute! Here are a couple of picture's of Trefaro's girlfriend Bella.

Trefaro is 10 week's old in these pic's. It is a traditional to have the Neo's tail's docked up to 1/3 the tail's length. There are several tradition's for the ear docking's. Some people mold the ear's upward, and have them folded over the top's of their heads, and other's will have 3/4 of the ear to almost all of the ear cropped. Here I am displaying Trefaro recovering from his ear's being cropped. You can see his stiches are starting to dissolve.

Trefaro has been growing rapidly, for this is expected with this particular breed. It is important as an owner to place large breed's on a large breed puppy food diet. Their structure and foundations must develope and mature completely before you let them aquire the weight they will naturally pack on. If they aquire to much weight to soon as a puppy, they may develope hip problems, as for these large breeds are known for this to happen. Enjoy our new pictures! What a stud!
