Dogs lining up

A little girl asked her Mom, 'Mom, may I take the dog for a walk around the block?'

Mom replies, 'No, because she is in heat.'

'What's that mean?' asked the child.

'Go ask your father. I think he's in the garage.'

The little girl goes to the garage and says, 'Dad, may I take Belle for a walk around the block? I asked Mom, but she said the dog was in heat, and to come to you.'

Dad said, 'Bring Belle over here.' He took a rag, soaked it with gasoline, And scrubbed the dog's backside with it to disguise the scent, and said 'OK, you can go now, but keep Belle on the leash and Only go one time round the block.' The little girl left and returned a few minutes later with no dog on the leash.

Surprised, Dad asked, 'Where's Belle?' (YOU'RE GONNA LOVE THIS!!!)

The little girl said, 'She ran out of gas about halfway down the block,
So another dog is pushing her home.'

You can'’t teach an old dog new tricks, or so the saying goes. But, if the story of a pair of English Jack Russell Terriers is anything to go by, it seems an old dog can teach a younger one a thing or two.

For the past five years, a Jack Russell called Freddie, who lives with his owner Patricia Swinley in Gloucestershire, has regularly taken a ride on the back of a friendly Shetland pony called Daisy. When seven year old Freddie recently became friendly with a younger Jack Russell, called Percy, he was determined to share the experience with him.

One day Freddie invited Percy up and the pair went for a ride. Percy quickly got the hang of it and the pair became regular passengers on Daisy’s back, amazing locals in their village, Flaxley. The only problem now is th at the pair often argue over whose turn it is to go first. There is no such squabbling when the pair take an alternative form of transport, in a little cart that Daisy pulls through the village.

Funny!!!

Given the number of things that we humans conjure up, one wonders what a dog thinks of it all! Look at the vacuum cleaner. It makes noise, sucks things up and you have to stay out of it's way. What does that mean to a dog? Pure evil!

Whoever got the idea that our dogs can understand what we say? Like the well meaning gentleman in the cartoon below, we often rattle of stuff to our canine friends.

However, our dogs do listen to what we say. They just can't understand it. Sometime the intelligent dogs pick up our meaning from our voice and emotions. But that's not always true :)

I'm sure all of us dog lovers can sympathize with this scenario. Dog barks at falling leaves. Dog barks at the car approaching. But said dog doesn't bark where it's necessary!

The cartoon below shows this beautifully!

What is the meaning of courage?

Is it to fight a bull in a bullfight?

Is it to drive a formula 1 car?

Is it to fly a fighter in combat?

Is it to practice free falling parachuting?

Is it bungee jumping, wild water rafting?

Is it to gamble your salary on a coin toss?

Is it to insult the doorman in a bar?

Is it to insult your boss?

Is it to go on a defective ferris wheel?

BS........those are nothing!

How many of us have remembered our first dog? How we used to prevent him or her from sitting on the couch, the bed, or sleeping under the blankets. And then little by little, they worm their way in!

Let us see how this progresses....

under the covers.

8. The dog can sleep under the covers by invitation only.

Pedro & Rosita

It's a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, "Hey, mamacita, let's do Weeweechu."

"Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!" said Rosita.

"Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged.

"But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon." replied Rosita.

"Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me."

Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu."

Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang.....

"Weeweechu, Weeweechu, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year."

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
