Each Tuesday we will share a photo we received claiming to be the World's Largest Dog. A lot of you might have seen these photos. We couldn't verify the source so we leave it up to you to believe it or not. Photoshop can make look anything big. Let us know what you think. Have you seen any of these dogs in person? Do you have a photo that you want to share with us?
2) The Largest Boerboel:
This South African Beast looks huge indeed. I am only guessing it is a Boerboel and I am also guessing... it is fake too! Males are 25-28 inches (64-70 cm.). Females are 23-25.5 inches (59-65 cm.). They are known to have huge heads... but this one or enormous!
Don't forget to check back next week!

Anne Hathway who first earned fame with "The Princess Diaries", takes her Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Esmeralda for a walk.
Labradors are one of my favorite dogs. Big and strong, and yet with a nature that wouldn't hurt a fly. To my mind, they symbolize the doggy nature better than any other breed. Good choice Anne!

Dogs need to know that you're taking them for a walk. Not the other way around. The best way is to wrap the leash around your arm two or three times, and walk at a constant pace.
Make sure that your dog understands that no matter how hard he pulls, there's no going any faster than you're currently going, and so he might as well go at your pace.
However, if you've gotten him used to pulling you around, then you might not be able to convince him that you've changed! Ensure that your dog learns from the very beginning that going for a walk is a structured act with rules that are not to be broken.

In 1978, a law was enacted in New York which stipulated that dog owners must clean up after their dog had done their business on the street.
If the official figures are to be believed, the total amount of dog poop that was deposited on the streets before that was
40 MILLION POUNDS per year! I wonder how they managed before the law.

Elena has two
Scottish Terriers of her own. As a reflection of her nationality (Born in Russia and living in the US), one of her dogs - Patrick is Russian, and the other (Dussia) is American.
Here is one of her paintings which she made in 2002. Three Scottish Terriers, with a passion for shoes! The painting is Ink on paper and colored pencil.

Every week Euro Puppy showcases a dog lamp. Is it tacky or wacky? We will leave it up to you to decide. While having our own beliefs, we would love your comments...Enjoy....
Cute Puppy Lamp
There are plenty of dog lamps around the place. But few of them are pure puppy lamps. Even fewer manage to look as cute as the little guy in the picture below. At 17 inches tall, this brown and white ceramic puppy has plenty of 'Aaaawww' factor!
