The site owner is Maayan, a 17 year old Senio Student whose mission is to help animal charities and guide dog training organizations with the profit from the store. She is a passionate animal lover who has been raised to love dogs. She is devoted to serve good deed with the store.

This year, Budapest, Hungary will proudly host the annual European Dog Show! We hope to see hundreds of thousands of dog fanciers where the cream of the European Dog World will meet to compete.

Have you heard of the latest TV show about dogs called the "Greatest American Dog"? Not yet?! Then look out, it will premier on Thursday, July 10 on CBC!! Since we love animals, and especially dogs so much, we are always excited to see new TV shows or movies featuring amazing dogs.

What makes this show even more exciting for us is that one of our beloved "Euro Puppy" dogs helps in promoting the show on the following poster!



The handsome red boy in the middle is Brutus - a fine example of the Dogue de Bordeaux breed. Brutus and Timmy, the Chihuahua on far left are the Jim & Jennifer Peres family's dogs.

Military dogs are dogs that are used to complement the various tasks that are needed to carry out a military operations. To some, this may seem to be contrary to humanitarian principles. But I look at it like this - This is how dogs first evolved - as a companion in hunting, and in fact, gun dogs like the Hungarian Vizsla are in use by even non military personnel.



All of a dog's functions that are superior to those of a human, are used to round off an operation that would otherwise lack their fine capabilities. So let's proceed by looking at a dog's superior functions:

Smell and Hearing

The dog's superior sense of smell, makes them very useful when used as Detection Dogs. These dogs are utilized to sniff out very small traces of the substance to be detected. They can include illegal narcotics, explosives, and even humans, as search dogs.

Breeds that are suited for this purpose are the Bloodhound, Labrador Retrievers, Rottweilers, and the St. Bernard, among others.

Speed and Aggressiveness

I know from experience that even a seasoned dog handler feels a chill up his spine when he sees a real threatening snarl from a German Shepherd. These dogs known as K9 (like 'canine') dogs are used to hunt down suspects, or prevent them from escaping. Apart from the German Shepherd, commonly used dogs also include the Doberman, and the American Pit Bull Terriers.


Easy to Train and Loyal

Dogs such as Attack Dogs can be specifically trained to chase and incapacitate (But not necessarily kill) targets. Dogs like the Irish Wolfhound are used for this purpose.

The loyalty of all the breeds are beyond question and all make excellent watchdogs, yet some breeds like the Bullmastiff are admirable guard dogs whose job doesn't end with merely scaring away the intruder, but actively stopping them, and restraining them. Once again, the desired result can be easily achieved with training.

Our super cute French Bulldog is having a wonderful time in Miami, FL. Check out Euro Puppy USA if you liked her.

First time ever Euro Puppy USA went to the Boston Marathon. It was a lot of fun and an experience we will never forget. No, there were no dogs running the Marathon. It was Sandor Joo from Hungary who ran under the Euro Puppy USA flag.

Sandor is a well recognized marathon and ultra marathon runner in Hungary. As many other marathon runners' dream, his dream was to run on the Boston Marathon which is probably one of the top five most recognized Marathons in the world. Euro Puppy USA was happy to sponsor him on this memorable experience. His bib number was 2118. He began the race from the second coral which is where the best 2000-2999 runners were.

He is 40 years old and his dream was to be within the first 300 in his devision and overall 1500 out of the 26000+ runners. We are very proud of him. Sandor finished 289th in his division and was 1302nd overall.
